OROVILLE, Calif. -

Sentencing was continued Tuesday for an 18-year-old Butte County man accused of punching another man in the face and then bragging about it on Twitter.

The victim is Daniel Chesterman and he's the brother of Kristina Chesterman who was allegedly killed by a drunk driver in September.  Their mother and father, David and Sandra Chesterman, were in court Tuesday after driving hours from the Bay Area only to be disappointed.

Freeman tweeted after the attack in February: "I literally collapsed half of someone's face last night."

Freeman's lawyer asked for sentencing to be continued, because of a late probation report.

The judge granted the request.

Originally, the case was ruled mutual combat by Chico police, but after the tweet that led to Freeman's arrest he was charged with felony assault with great bodily injury.

Daniel Chesterman had to have four plates and several screws installed on the left side of his face.

Freeman will be back in court in three weeks when a new date will be set for sentencing.

He faces up to four years behind bars.
