Dutch Bros. joins Stuff the Bus with 2 drop off locations

REDDING, Calif. - Two Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in Redding are now collecting toys for KRCR's Stuff the Bus toy drive.

This is the second year the company has partnered with the Salvation Army to collect gifts for kids in need throughout the Northstate.

Last year Dutch Bros. passed out free coffee, but for 2015, they've set up donation barrels at their locations on North Market Street and Churn Creek Road near the post office.

Co-Owner of Dutch Bros. Redding, Erin Resner, said their customers are always on the go and by offering the bins this year, it allows them to donate at their convenience.

It's also their way to help get the word out about Stuff the Bus and encourage the community to give back this holiday season.

"For us we've been super blessed and we like to help any time that we possibly can. And it does really make a truly special impact on the child's life or on a family's life," said Resner.

The Churn Creek Road location near the post office is open 24 hours.

The donation bin is located right as you pull into the drive through, that way customers can reach out and drop off their donation without getting out of the car.

The Stuff the Bus toy drive is December 4 at both the Chico Mall and Crown Motors in Redding.

KRCR will be live at the event, but you don't have to wait. You can drop off toys at Dutch Bros. and several other locations over the next couple of weeks.
