Earthquake rattles parts of Shasta County

SHINGLETOWN, Calif. - Thursday morning a 3.4 magnitude earthquake rattled part of Shasta County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake hit at 9:09 a.m. eight miles north of Shingletown. The quake struck at a depth of 9.8 miles.
