Two-alarm fire rips through triplex

REDDING, Calif. - Redding firefighters had their second busy weekend in a row, this time battling a second-alarm structure fire in a triplex.

It broke out around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Collyer Drive.

It was initially dispatched as a vegetation fire, but quickly upgraded once fire crews arrived to find flames in the structure.

All on-duty city resources responded to the incident.

No one was hurt.

The cause is under investigation.
