Six people were arrested in Weaverville on Monday during a marijuana bust.
On Monday, officers with the Trinity County Narcotics Task Force, the Department of Fish and Game and the California Highway Patrol served a search warrant on private property in Weaverville.
They detained six people who claimed to be workers hired to trim and process the marijuana. They found 373 marijuana plants and 40 lbs. of processed marijuana.
All six people were arrested and booked in the Trinity County Jail for cultivation and production of marijuana for sale. Officers on the scene found a dammed up creek on the property that was being used to illegally draw water to the marijuana plants. Officers also found garbage and a makeshift outhouse.
