TEHAMA, Calif. -

Young riders got on their tricycles and pedaled away for a good cause today. A total of 35 Head Start preschool students got together on their day off from school to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

The Trike-A-Thon started at 10 a.m. on Friday  and lasted until 11 a.m. at the Head Start child development center in Tehama County.

Children participating in the Trike-A-Thon raised money with the help of family and friends.

They got to enjoy a carnival after the event.
