'Taste of Chico' draws thousands to the downtown area
Thousands descended into downtown Chico on Sunday for the 28th annual 'Taste of Chico' and to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and, well, tastes of Chico.
Hundreds of vendors were out showcasing what they have to offer to Butte County and beyond.
Local art, music and culture was on display, but of course food was the main attraction.
The price of admission got people a little taste of what local restaurants have to offer and as always it was a huge hit and drew a people far and wide.
"I come all the way from Sacramento just to be here," says Steve Walden. "Fabulous food, fabulous individuals--not a bad thing to drink or eat. You couldn't have asked for a better day than today. This is probably the best event, for me, Chico has all year."
And if you missed out on all of the fun and good food today, don't worry, there will be another Taste of Chico--about 364 days from now.
