RED BLUFF, Calif. - The two women and man who Tehama County deputies say led them on a high speed chase were in court for the first time Thursday.
29-year-old Stephanie Torres is charged with shooting a 46-year-old man four times at a Red Bluff apartment Sunday.
Torres is also being investigated for a string of robberies in the area.
Deputies say when they tried to stop their car, Torres, Marlen Fernandez and Alfredo Galvan took off.
Deputies estimated 12 shots were fired at them during the chase, they were not hit.
Torres is charged with attempted murder with a special allegation for using a gun, and assaulting a peace officer with a gun.
Torres and Galvan are both suspected of shooting at officers. Galvan is also charged with evading officers, while Fernandez is charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition.
They did not enter a plea.
They will be back in court Tuesday.
