Red Bluff firefighters extinguish house fire

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Firefighters had to cut a hole in the roof and pull down ceilings to fight a house fire in Red Bluff on Thursday.

Three people were home when fire broke out at around 6:34 a.m. on Robinson Ave. and firefighters said the fire started in the outside deck on the back of the home.

According to Red Bluff firefighters, the fire then spread from the rear outside deck to the attic of the 2000-square-foot single story home, causing them to have to cut a hole in the roof.

The fire was contained within 45 minutes and there were no injuries.
