Red Bluff man wanted for homicide in Medford arrested

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Red Bluff police arrested Enrique Solis-Garcia, 38, from Red Bluff, Monday for a homicide that occurred Monday morning in Medford, Oregon. 

Medford police said Solis-Garcia is suspected of killing Noemi Ruiz in front of her home on the 2000 block of Hill Way. Medford police contacted Red Bluff police after identifying Solis-Garcia on surveillance video. They believed Solis-Garcia was headed back to Red Bluff.

Red Bluff police began searching for Solis-Garcia and located him at 11:09 a.m. on Antelope Boulevard at the Sacramento River Bridge. He was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail.

Investigators from Medford responded to continue the investigation, along with Red Bluff police and the Tehama County District Attorney's Office.

Solis-Garcia is being held on a no bail warrant and is awaiting extradition back to Jackson County.
