ORLAND, Calif. -

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the larceny of more than $81,000 worth of produce packing bags for oranges from the Orange Blossom Packing Company in Orland.

The burglary occurred sometime during the weekend of August 30.

The report said that 340,000 bags in three different sizes were stolen. These bags were labeled, "Orange Blossom Packing".

96,000 bags labeled "Sanchez Farms" were also stolen. These were valued at $30,720, bringing the total loss to $81,720.
