Truck crashes into power pole, sparks fire in Red Bluff

RED BLUFF, Calif. -

CAL FIRE responded to a seven-acre vegetation fire in Red Bluff at Luther Rd. and Airport Blvd.

According to California Highway Patrol, the fire was caused by a truck crashing into a power pole.

Power lines were down and as of 5 p.m., PG&E told us that there were 1,813 customers without power in Gerber and Las Flores area.

There was also a road closure at Luther Rd. and Paskenta Rd.

The Red Bluff Municipal Airport was closed for approximately 30 minutes, but has since been re-opened.
