A vegetation fire in north Redding broke out on Monday afternoon and burned about 12 acres. No structures were threatened.
Six engines from CAL FIRE, three engines from Redding Fire, one water air tanker, two bulldozers and two hand crews responded to the fire, which is now fully contained.
A bulldozer worked on putting out the main problem areas in the large field with multiple spot fires.
Firefighters sprayed down a field right next to the main fire and searched the area for more spot fires.
