CHICO, Calif. -

A collision between a Wal-Mart big rig and a B-Line bus tied up traffic Tuesday morning in Chico.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. at Forest Ave. and Notre Dame Blvd.  According the the general manager of B-Line operations, Ibrahima Toure, the big-rig drove into the side of the bus.

The intersection has two right turn lanes from eastbound Forest Ave. to southbound Notre Dame Blvd.  According to Toure, large vehicles are supposed to make a right turn from the outside lane (center lane), not the far right lane.

Toure said the B-Line driver was in the correct position when the Wal-Mart truck drove into the side of the bus.

The bus suffered minor damage and remained in service.  No one on the bus was injured.

The bumper appeared to be knocked off the big rig.
