REDDING, Calif. -

A woman reported being robbed at gunpoint inside a cell phone store on Saturday night.

It happened around 5:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of Westside Road.

According to the woman, who did not want to share her identity, a man walked into the store wearing a black ski mask, and began fumbling with his jacket pocket. He then produced a black handgun, screamed and cursed at her, and demanded cash.

At first, the woman was so shocked, she responded by asking, "are you kidding?" She realized he was not, and began giving him the money.

During the handover of cash, she said she dropped a $100 bill on the ground, causing the subject to become angry.

Shortly after, he left with the money, and she called Redding police.

They responded with a K-9 as well as a CHP helicopter. However, the search for a suspect yielded no results.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect at the scene.
