A woman had to be airlifted to the hospital after crashing her car into a tree Thursday night.
It happened at about 8:25 p.m. near the intersection of Bowman Road and Sebastian Court.
CHP officers said the driver was a woman in her 30s. She left the road for unknown reasons and crashed her Chevy Cobalt in to a tree, suffering major injuries.
It took emergency responders about 20 minutes to extricate her from the vehicle.
Investigators are working to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
