CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police were busy early Monday responding to several Labor Day disturbances.
Officers arrested a suspect around 3 a.m. Monday after they said he slashed the tires on at least four vehicles on Cherry Street.
Firefighters also responded to a couch fire early Monday.
Chico Police Chief Kirk Trostle reminded students at the start of the school year that the department is enforcing a one and done policy. Officers will break up any house party if there is a single act of violence.
