GRIDLEY, Calif. - A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Butte County Tuesday morning.
According to officers at the scene, it happened just after 6:30 a.m. on Colusa Highway at Lewis Oak Road in Gridley.
The highway was closed between Kofford Road and Block Road while officers investigated.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by an SUV.
