Masked robbers steal guns, marijuana and van

HAYFORK, Calif. - Deputies in Trinity County are looking for two suspects who stole marijuana, guns and a minivan from a home outside Hayfork.

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.  The Trinity County Sheriff's Office received a call from a residence in the Peanut Mill Camp.  It was reported that two men, armed with guns, dressed in all black and wearing ski masks entered the residence and held two men at gunpoint.

The two victims were detained within the residence while the suspects stole processed marijuana and firearms from the home. The two suspects left in a vehicle that was stolen from the home.

A search of the area by the Trinity County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol was unsuccessful. An alert for the stolen vehicle was issued to neighboring counties.

The stolen vehicle is a dark blue 1994 Chevy Astro Van with a California
license plate DP034CE. The van has a painting on the back door of a pig's head with the words "A Pigment of Your Imagination" around the pig's head.

If you have information about the suspects, call the Trinity County Sheriff's Office at 530-623-2611. Deputies said you should not contact the subjects in the vehicle.  Call law enforcement if the vehicle is spotted.
