REDDING, Calif. - An Anderson woman will be back in court Monday afternoon, to be charged in a murder-for-hire plot.
Angela O'Regan made her first court appearance on Thursday. She was taken into custody one week ago after Anderson Police got a tip from Chico Police.
She's accused of plotting to kill her grand-daughter's father because he would not allow O'Regan to see the little girl.
Officers said they recovered the gun that was allegedly supposed to be used in the plot.
They also have text messages and phone recordings. They said O'Regan gave incriminating statements when she was interviewed by police.
