(CNN) -- Nineteen people were hurt, five of them critically, when a gas explosion erupted in a restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri, officials said Tuesday. Five people were brought to the University of Kansas Medical Center, where one was in the intensive care unit, two were in serious condition and the others "weren't that bad off and they will likely be treated and released," said center spokesman Bob Hallinan. One person was taken to Truman Medical Centers in critical condition, said spokesman Shane Kovac. Another 13 people were taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where three patients were in critical condition, said hospital spokeswoman Susan Gale.
