(CNN) -- The United States and other countries near Syria are analyzing intelligence reports that the Bashar al-Assad government may have moved some of its chemical weapons in recent weeks, a senior U.S. official told CNN. The movement could be an attempt to consolidate storage because of deteriorating security across Syria, the official said.
