One dead, two hurt in Tehama Co. structure fire

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - One man is dead and two other people have been injured in a structure fire northeast of Red Bluff.

The call came in around 11:10 a.m. Sunday on Volcano Way.

According to CAL FIRE, three people were home at the time. Officials said the fire started in the front of the double-wide trailer.

Two people were able to escape with minor-to-moderate burns. The third was not able to get out.

The victims who survived were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
