Glenn County Sheriff's deputies arrested two people on Friday for eight charges including carrying a loaded firearm in public, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies took Stevie Michelle Okerlund, 36, and Loren Oliver Okerlund, 39, into custody at Stony Gorge Reservoir near Elk Creek, about 25 miles west of Willows.
A records check on the suspects' white van found that it and the two persons inside were wanted for their alleged involvement in a Butte County burglary.
A search of the van found a loaded semi-automatic handgun under the driver's seat. The gun was reported stolen out of Chico.
Among the missing property was several keys for vehicles and gates with Butte College labeling, leading deputies to believe the property had been taken from a CAL FIRE station near Butte College.
Deputies also found multiple glass pipes, 1.3 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 138.5 grams of marijuana.
The suspects were turned over to Butte County detectives after detectives requested to come to Willows and take the suspects into custody.
The pair is being charged with four felonies and four misdemeanors, including carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana.
