Police K-9 locates drugs during traffic stop

ANDERSON, Calif. - Police arrested an Anderson woman after finding large amounts of drugs in her car during a traffic stop.

Nora Hunter, 32, was pulled over early Tuesday morning around Highway 273 and Ox Yoke Rd.

Police say they found a glass pipe used for smoking during a pat down search. The officer detained Hunter, and called in for a K-9 unit to search the car.

The report says K-9 Aero led officers to finding 13.3 grams of heroin, 73.3 grams of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, prescription drugs, and various other drug paraphernalia. Officers also say they found a loaded and concealed revolver.

Hunter was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail on several felony charges.
