GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - It's not until the end of May, but Glenn County officials are already planning for it. And it could mean a ban on drinking on the Sacramento River this Memorial Holiday.
An ordinance will be proposed at Tuesday's supervisors meeting. This proposal comes a year after Cal Poly San Luis Obispo student Bret Olson drowned while drinking alcohol on the river.
