Red Bluff dog named Best in Breed at Westminster Dog Show

RED BLUFF, Calif. - A dog from Red Bluff has repeated as Best in Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.

The Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Coco Posh was named Best in Breed for the second year in a row during the competition Monday morning.

The dog's owner, Julie Divens of Red Bluff, said this year's competition featured  three times the number of Cardigan Welsh Corgis as last year, and Coco faced extremely tough competition.

The show is by invitation only, the top dogs in each breed are invited. Coco also won Best in Breed at the Prestigious Eukanuba Dog Show in December.

Coco Posh will go on to compete in the Herding Group Monday and Tuesday nights.  If she wins Best in Group, she will advance to the Best in Show competition.
