Red Bluff pursuit ends with man & woman arrested

RED BLUFF, Calif. - A chase in Red Bluff landed two people in jail.    Allan Darling, 24, and Sierra Thompson, 26, were both arrested after allegedly leading deputies on a chase along Wilcox Road in Red Bluff Tuesday night.

At 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, deputies tried to pull over the Volkswagen Jetta which had been reported stolen earlier in the evening.  Two people ran from the vehicle after stopping on Mesa Court.

Darling and Thompson were both found hiding in nearby bushes.

Deputies said Darling was found with methamphetamine and was also  arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.

Thompson was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Both face charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
