Red Bluff trick-or-treaters take on Treat Street

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Downtown Red Bluff was the place to be for many children this Halloween.

The Downtown Business Association held their annual "Treat Street" event.

Many children, walked into different businesses to get their hands on some candy.  For Fern Anker-Kelly, she said getting candy isn't the only thing she enjoyed. Fern thought of her own costume, a vampire cupcake.

"It was just in my mind and my mom had to make it," said Fern.

Children walking the area, also said that they enjoyed getting their hands on some candy.

"It's nice that all the businesses put all of this together and safer than going to everyone's  houses," said Michael Arellano.

The "Treat Street" even went from 2 to 5 p.m.

Red Bluff Fire Department was also there giving out glow sticks so kids remain visible at night.
