Redding intersection to be closed for 10 days

REDDING, Calif. - A road construction project in North Redding will cause delays for the next ten days.

Friday night the intersection of Old Oregon Trail and Oasis Road in Redding will be closed for a complete road reconstruction.     It will remain closed for ten days.

Officials estimate it will re-open on the morning of July 21st.  People in the area should expect a 15 minute delay for alternate routes.

Construction will include raising the road about three feet, widening the road and replacing guard rails.  There will also be flashing lights added to stop signs.
