CITY OF SHASTA LAKE, Calif. - The Shasta County Sheriff's Office is searching for a mother accused of abducting her two sons.
On Saturday, seven-year-old Dane Garland and five-year-old Aden Garland were reported endangered and missing from Shasta County.
According to authorities, the suspect, Mindy Delgado, the boys' mother, failed to return them to their legal guardian after a routine, court-approved visitation in the City of Shasta Lake.
Delgado does not have legal custody of the two children.
Dane Garland is described as a white boy about 4'10", 85 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown Volcom shirt, camouflage pants and hiking boots.
Aden Garland is described as a white boy, about 4'4", 47 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and white/blue DC brand shoes.
Mindy Delgado is described as a white female, about 5'8, 135 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.
She is believed to be driving a 2001, black, four-door Ford Focus with California license plate 4RHD839.
Sheriff's deputies say the boys should be considered at-risk due to prior child abuse and neglect incidents involving Delgado.
She is currently wanted by the Shasta County Sheriff's Office for two felony counts of child abduction.
If anyone has any information they are asked to contact the Shasta County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at (530) 245-6540 or Records at (530) 245-6025.
