Andy Reid took to the podium today at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and the Chiefs new head coach fielded answers about a multitude of topics including the state of the roster and what the team might do regarding several players. New general manager John Dorsey will also be taking questions later at the Combine, so some more information might bring a few things in focus. For now, many of Reid's answers failed to yield much in the way of actual information. Here are a few quotes of note: On taking a guard at No. 1 overall: "You go with the best player. So if the best player is a guard, then you go with the guard. I think it's important that you look at it that way. If you don't, that's where the mistakes take place." On whether he would trade the top pick: "Yeah, we're going to evaluate everything. We're just not going to give it away, so we'd have to see what people throw our way. It's a pretty valuable pick I'd say." On the team's approach to Branden Albert: "We haven't gone through all that. I had him in because he had a fairly significant injury, so we've kind of got to work through that. I've got to see how all that works out."
