The Philadelphia Flyers acquired forward Simon Gagne from the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday for a conditional fourth round pick in 2013. This will be Gagne's second stint with the Flyers. He last played in Philadelphia during the 2009-10 season before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning ahead of the 2010-11 season. Gagne has been with the Kings the past two seasons, playing in just 45 games and recording seven goals and 15 games. Gagne appeared in four games in the Kings post-season run that led to them winning the Stanley Cup. In 772 career NHL games, Gagne has 283 goals and 586 points. Along with his Stanley Cup win last season, the two-time NHL All-Star also has an Olympic Gold Medal from 2002.
