Jamie Benn, who has missed two games with a wrist injury, skated for a short time, but did not seem to test his wrist very much. Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said Benn would give the wrist a good push at the morning skate on Saturday, and then the Stars would decide if Benn would play against the Blackhawks. “We’ll see tomorrow,” Gulutzan said. “He didn’t’ shoot any pucks today, so we’ll see how he is at the morning skate and we’ll make a decision after that.” These morning skate situations are very liquid, and they can change quickly. On Thursday, it appeared Brenden Morrow (groin) would be out of the Ducks game. However, he came back in the afternoon, and felt good enough to play. And he logged 10 minutes against Anaheim. So we’ll see on Benn, but it really is an hour-to-hour situation.
