Jets 2, Sabres 1: Captain Andrew Ladd scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season early in the second period as visiting Winnipeg snapped a three-game losing streak.Bryan Little opened the scoring exactly one minute into the game and Ladd doubled the advantage for the Jets, who won their second straight road game. Ondrej Pavelec made 29 saves - including 11 in the third period - for his first win in four starts.Buffalo captain Jason Pominville pulled the Sabres within one with 22 seconds left in the middle period. Ryan Miller stopped 26 shots for Buffalo, which suffered its fourth loss in five games.Evander Kane fished the puck out of a scrum behind the net and sent a no-look pass to Little, who was all alone in the slot and caught Miller looking the other way. At 5:46 of the second period, Ladd pounced on Nathan Gerbe's turnover in the Sabres' zone and fired a quick shot that eluded Miller through traffic.Pominville beat Pavelec to the glove side with a wrist shot during a 2-on-1 in the waning moments of the period.
