Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross believes that the NFL will land a franchise in Los Angeles in the next five years, but it will not be his team.

Ross, speaking at an NFL career symposium in Pennsylvania this weekend, said he can "see it coming" regarding an NFL team playing in Los Angeles, according to the Wall Street Journal. He also said that could happen "certainly within five years.

Ross was part of a 70-person group of NFL executives and coaches who participated in the conference.

However, that team will not be the Dolphins. Ross has no plans to move out of big-market Miami.

A number of small-market teams including the St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars have been rumored as linked to L.A., but the NFL has said a stadium must be built first before it will consider a team there.
