SAN DIEGO -- Jedd Gyorko had four hits and rookies Rymer Liriano and Abraham Almonte homered as San Diego completed a three-game sweep of Colorado.

Gyorko opened the fifth inning with a double and scored two batters later on Yasmani Grandal's sacrifice fly to break a 3-3 tie. Almonte hit his first homer as a Padre an inning later.

Ian Kennedy (9-10) was the winner and Joaquin Benoit picked up his seventh save, retiring Drew Stubbs on a fly to right for the final out with the tying runs on second and third. The win was the Padres' fifth straight and 16th in 24 games since the All-Star break.
