Arrest warrants were issued Thursday for University of Texas wide receivers Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander, who are charged with criminal sexual assault stemming from an incident July 22.

Sanders, a junior, faces a second charge of improper photography. Sanders was suspended by former coach Mack Brown for the 2013 season opener following a drunken driving arrest.

Bail was set at $95,000 for Sanders -- including $20,000 for the second charge -- and $75,000 for Meander, a freshman.

University of Texas police said both players were cooperating with the investigation, and claim the alleged victim consented to the encounter.

Head coach Charlie Strong said earlier this week the players would be suspended if charges were brought.
