Squirrel knocks out power in City of Shasta Lake

CITY OF SHASTA LAKE, Calif. - A squirrel knocked out power in the City of Shasta Lake Wednesday morning.

The City of Shasta Lake Electric Operations Manager Kevin Estabrook said the power outage started at 6:17 a.m.

A squirrel got onto a transformer at the north end of Montana Avenue, causing a power outage that affected 123 customers.  Service was restored at 7:08 a.m.
