Suspect wanted for running stolen car into his girlfriend

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Red Bluff Police are looking for a man who reportedly hit his girlfriend with a stolen car.  They're searching for 37-year-old Corey Casey who faces a long list of charges including kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.

Police were called to the Red Bluff Walgreens around 7 a.m. Wednesday.  

During the investigation, officers learned that Casey had been involved in a domestic violence incident with his 31-year-old girlfriend.  Police were told that Casey had intentionally struck the victim with the vehicle he was driving.  Casey allegedly transported the victim against her will from Mina Avenue in Red Bluff to Walgreens.

Casey drove off, and the vehicle was located a short distance away.  Police then discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from an elderly Red Bluff resident. 

Casey fled the area on foot and officers have been unable to find him.  The female victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital and was released a short time later.
