RED BLUFF, Calif. - A $5 million dollar lottery jackpot has been claimed by a Tehama County man.
Joshua Jefferson won the California Lottery prize on a $5 Million Scratchers Jackpot ticket he bought for $20.
Jefferson said he plans on using his newfound wealth to help his mother and to take care of his young daughter.
He purchased the winning ticket on Father's Day at the Chevron gas station at 1055 South Main St. in Red Bluff.
As the seller of the ticket, the gas station will get $25,000.
