The Canadian Snowbirds are back

REDDING, Calif. - This weekend, get ready for some rare birds flying overhead.

The Canadian Snowbirds are coming back to Redding Municipal Airport.

They will be performing in the Redding Air Show this Saturday and Sunday.

The show is funded by donations. For the past 35 years the event has returned around one million dollars back to the community.

"Redding is one of a handful of air shows civilians in the United States that has a jet demonstration team the Snowbirds and a high-speed jet demo the Canadian forces F-18," Wagner said.

About 25,000 to 35,000 people to attend the show.

Tickets are $12 now or $17 at the gate. Kids ages 6-11 are $5. And children under 6 are free. You can purchase tickets at Raley's.
