CHICO, Calif. - Three unidentified males have been arrested in connection to a shooting at a trailer park in Chico Sunday afternoon.
Police are working to determine if they could be connected to a pair of shootings Saturday night.
No one appears to have been injured in Sunday's shooting but at least five shots were fired at the Haven Trailer Park on Nord Avenue around 2:40 p.m.
Officers responding to the scene witnessed a black Chevy SUV in the area that matched a description given to dispatchers.
Police followed the vehicle to Klondike Court off of West 1st Avenue.
"We were able to block the vehicle's path. Additional units arrived and we took three into custody from the vehicle," explained Lieutenant David Britt with the Chico Police Department.
A drive-by shooting was also reported last night around 11 p.m. on Klondike Court.
"This is the same location as a report of shots fired last night, whether the two of them are related is still under investigation," Britt said.
Police have said Saturday night's drive-by and another shooting an hour later downtown near 3rd and Broadway were likely gang related. A gang slur was used before the second shooting and man was shot in the torso. His wounds are not life threatening.
Officers have yet to determine whether the arrests Sunday are gang related.
"We are going to have the gang unit do the investigation," said Britt.
When pressed about the possibility Sunday's shooting was in any way related to Saturday night's events Britt responded, "We are determining if there is a connection, yes."
Britt said police hadn't yet found a weapon inside the vehicle.
