REDDING, Calif. - Restrictions surrounding medical marijuana is on the agenda for two Northstate counties.
The Shasta County Board of Supervisors are talking about tightening regulations.
The planning commission recommended no more than 12 plants on a plot of 20 acres or less, and no more than 24 plants on a plot more than 20 acres.
Plants could only be grown in detached uninhabited buildings.
Tuesday's meeting starts at 9 a.m. in the supervisors chambers in the county administration building, at 1450 Court Street in Suite 308B in Redding.
Similar restriction are also being discussed in Butte County for the same thing, around the same time.
Butte County Supervisors will meet Tuesday morning at 10:45 a.m. in the supervisors chambers at 25 County Center Drive in Oroville.
