Walmart robbery suspect caught on surveillance tape

REDDING, Calif. - Police have released a surveillance image of the man who robbed the Redding Walmart Sunday night.

The robbery was reported at 9:18 p.m.

The suspect approached a clerk in the Garden Center of the store and pulled a black semi-automatic handgun.  The clerk ran, and the suspect took cash from the register.

The suspect is described as a white, unshaven man, 30 to 40-years-old, about 5'10 and 230 pounds.  He had a moustache and a goatee.

Witnesses said he was wearing tan shorts, a gray t-shirt, and a fedora.  He had on white socks and black shoes.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
