Woman accused of tying up and beating 4-year-old boy

WILLOWS, Calif. - A Willows woman is in jail, accused of beating and tying up a 4-year-old child.   Willows Police arrested 24-year-old Alejandra Vasquez.

Police got the call Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m.

Someone reported a 4-year-old boy was battered and bound with a rope by his guardian in the 600 block of Edgewood Lane.

After interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence, police took four children into protective custody.  The children include the 4-year-old boy, and three girls ages 8 years, 9 years and 3 months.

Vasquez faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and child endangerment.
