Woman confronts alleged car thief, is knocked to the ground

REDDING, Calif. - Redding Police want you to be on the lookout for a car theft suspect.  They're looking for 33 year old Bradley Wible of Redding.

Police said he stole a tan 2004 Toyota Corolla from the parking lot of Mercy Medical Center on Monday.

The car's owner, Shannon Touhey, spotted her stolen car in the parking lot of the Redding Walmart Tuesday around 10:45 p.m.

When she confronted the man getting into the car, she was struck by the driver's side door as he drove off.   Using surveillance video, the suspect was identified from prior arrests at Bradley Wible.  Police said he has an extensive criminal history and is currently on AB-109 probation.   The stolen Corolla is a 4-door, 2004 model with license plate 5WSR242. Touhey suffered scrapes but was not seriously injuried.
