Zumbathon planned to raise money for 'One SAFE Place'

REDDING, Calif. - A Zumbathon hosted by Xtreme Fitness will be held this weekend to benefit One SAFE Place.

One SAFE Place provides victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence resources in Shasta County.

Zumba is Latin-inspired dancing blended with international music that has become popular in gyms across America.

Zumba instructors Marikit Del Rosario-Sabet and Lisa Reed said this event is a great way to give back to the community while having fun.

The Zumbathon is Sunday, Oct. 27.

It is going to be held at the Sequoia Middle School Gymnasium in Redding from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person and they are available at Xtreme Fitness, One SAFE Place and at the door.

There will also be live drummers, refreshments, silent auction, and raffles.
