Nick Emmons joins KRCR from the beautiful California Central Coast where he graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Nick started his career at KRCR in sports, but he’s since made the transition to news.

Nick’s passion for storytelling has taken him on journeys to the CHP Academy in Sacramento where he went through boot camp with cadets for a day. Nick has also taken viewers behind closed doors at Oaksterdam University, where he profiled America’s first cannabis college in Oakland.

Nick has a yellow lab named Gibson, who he rescued in June 2009. Nick enjoys staying active, watching sports, and meeting everyone. So if you see him, say hello!
