EPD: C&V Market robbed at gunpoint

EUREKA, Calif. - On January 10 at 7:48 p.m. Eureka Police Department (EPD) officers were sent to the C&V Market on the 1600 block of F Street after reports of an armed robbery that had just taken place.

On arrival police reported that the suspect entered the store, brandished a black colored gun, and demanded money. The suspect then fled the market on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to investigators.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’4”, with a thin build and wearing dark clothing and a mask.

Officers searched the area nearby but were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call EPD at 707-441-4060
